About Dawn

Dawn Davison grew up in Southern California before venturing to Boston, where she graduated from Tufts University with a degree in political science. Not a fan of cold winters or the 3,000 miles separating her from her camp sweetheart (now her husband), she returned to California for graduate school, earning a master’s degree in broadcast journalism at USC. She worked as a publicist for several television series and celebrities before becoming a stay-at-home mom to her four kids.


When she was diagnosed with a chronic illness, she decided to follow her life-long dream of becoming an author. Whether writing for adult or YA audiences, her books contain a combination of the elements she loves to read—fantasy, romance, mystery, and humor.


Dawn lives in Southern California with her husband, kids, and two dogs. In addition to being an avid reader, she enjoys singing and beating the guys as part of the only female team (along with her best friend) in her fantasy football league.
